Bio: Yusuf Mshelia is a Nigerian entrepreneur and the Director of NutrappAI, a health-tech startup focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to revolutionize nutrition and improve health outcomes across Africa. He pursued his Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at the American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, and later earned his Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
Yusuf's professional career includes roles in academia and research, with experience as a Lecturer at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and Nile University of Nigeria involvement in data analysis and software engineering. His primary research interests lie in software engineering and health informatics, and he has published several papers in these fields.
Throughout his career, Yusuf has been recognized with several honors, including the AUN Full Tuition Scholarship and the Federal Scholarship Board PhD Award. He is an active member of professional organizations like the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
As the director of NutrappAI, Yusuf aims to tackle nutrition-related issues and promote healthier lifestyles using technology, contributing to the advancement of public health in Africa.
